Step 1. Login to the VAIRKKO platform.
Step 2. From the in-app menu, select ‘Schedule’ at the top of the screen
Step 3. Select ‘Add Time Off’ located above the calendar view. You will notice green boxes with values for ‘Pending’ and ‘Approved’. These indicate how many requests are currently pending and approved for your organization each day. On the right side of the screen, you can toggle which data to display and view any restrictions or policies for your organization.
Step 4. Click on one or more days on the calendar you want to request off. Then select ‘Add Time Off’ from the bottom of the screen. Selected days will turn light blue as you click on them.
Step 5. If you are already scheduled on a requested day, the shift information will be listed. At this point, you can remove selected days, select the type of time off, change the duration, or select a replacement employee.
Use the icon to copy that field’s data down to other requested days. If ‘All/None’ is selected, your admin will approve all or deny all days from your selection. Leave any comments for your administrator and select ‘Review’ to move to the next step.
Step 6. Confirm the requested time off is correct and hit ‘Submit’. If you need to make a change, click on ‘Edit’ before submission. The graph will represent the time frame requested off vs the scheduled time for the shift.
If you are requesting time off overnight, the display will showcase the time frame requested for both dates.
Step 7. Your pending request will now be visible on your calendar in yellow. While in the pending stage, you can click on the request from the calendar to edit or cancel it.
Step 8. To delete requests in bulk, click on ‘Add Time Off’, then select the pending requests you wish to cancel. Then, click on ‘Delete Time Off’ from the bottom of the screen to cancel those requests in bulk.
