VAIRKKO uses a flexible layer system to manage organizational hierarchy. An organization can be divided into Companies, Locations, and Departments, with the option to group them further using Regions. This structure allows you to manage multiple companies within the same platform while maintaining clear separation and control.
Companies
For example, if Organization A owns Company 1, Company 2, and Company 3, the organization would own the platform, while each company can be created separately within it. You can:
Lock the system by company, so users only see items and employees within their company.
Publish information to specific companies.
Filter reports by company.
Locations
Locations represent areas within a company. For instance, if Company 1 has sites in Cleveland, Berkeley, and Greenville, these can be created as locations. For example, John works at the Greenville Location within Company 1. You can:
Lock the platform by location to restrict access to location-specific data.
Publish information to a location.
Filter reports by location.
Departments
Departments are subdivisions within a location. At the Greenville Location, for example, you might have an HR Department, an Administrative Department, and an Operations Department. This allows even more granular control. You can:
Lock the platform by department, restricting visibility to department-specific information.
Publish information to departments.
Filter reports by department.
Regions
Regions allow you to group multiple locations. For example:
East Region → five East Coast locations
Midwest Region → three Midwest locations
West Region → six West Coast locations
All locations within a region are linked together, making it easier to organize, manage, and report on large amounts of information. Regions are especially useful in check sheets and reports.
