Scheduling & Time Off
Clearer time clock behavior for shift overruns
We’ve updated how the time clock handles situations where a shift runs over its scheduled time. This change improves how overruns are recognized and processed so that admins and payroll teams see more consistent results and can more easily reconcile actual worked time with scheduled shifts.
Accurate duration on multi‑shift time‑off days
We addressed a time‑off duration calculation issue in the admin time‑off grid when employees had multiple shifts on a single day. The system now correctly represents the intended time‑off duration rather than adding up all individual shift times, reducing confusion and the risk of over‑or under‑counted time off.
Aligned time‑off shift duration and payroll charge
We fixed a mismatch where the shift duration used for time off did not align with the amount charged to payroll. With this update, the hours shown in scheduling and the hours charged to payroll are consistent, lowering the need for manual adjustments and preventing discrepancies in pay and accruals.
Schedule Manager display honors provider settings
Schedule Manager now more reliably respects provider‑specific settings when displaying schedule information. Admins configuring or reviewing schedules will see fields and details that match each provider’s configuration, improving clarity and reducing the chance of misinterpreting schedule data.
Refined Clone Shift behavior in Slot Editor
We’ve updated the Clone Shift functionality in the Slot Editor to behave more predictably and in line with current scheduling workflows. This makes it easier for schedulers to duplicate shifts without introducing unintended changes, reducing the risk of errors when rapidly building or adjusting schedules.
Improved admin swap error messaging
We corrected and clarified the error messaging shown to admins when swap requests cannot be completed. The system now presents clearer reasons when a swap fails (for example, rule conflicts or eligibility issues), helping admins quickly understand what went wrong and what needs to change.
Training, Certifications, and People Records
Renewal frequency restored when issuing certifications
We fixed an issue where the renewal frequency was no longer populating when new certifications were issued. Renewal details now populate correctly, helping compliance teams maintain accurate timelines for when staff must retrain or recertify.
Editable skill levels in employee certification profiles
The Edit button for skill levels in employee certification profiles is now working as expected. Admins can once again adjust skill levels directly from the profile, making it easier to keep skill and competency records current as employees advance or change roles.
Individual assignments are visible in the Kendo Grid
We resolved an issue where certain individual assignments were not appearing in the relevant Kendo Grid views. These assignments are now displayed properly, improving transparency for training coordinators and managers who rely on these grids to track assignment status.
Stabilized ID card generation testing
We fixed a timeout problem in the ID card generation test process. While not directly changing the way IDs are issued to end users, this update improves reliability in the underlying generation and quality‑assurance flow, helping ensure ID card features remain stable and performant.
Safer handling of employee import sync files
We addressed an issue causing employee import sync files to be removed unexpectedly. The import process now preserves the necessary files appropriately, improving reliability for organizations that automate employee data synchronization and reducing the risk of missing or incomplete imports.
Error handling when no VAIRKKO features are mapped
We resolved an error that occurred when saving configurations that had no VAIRKKO features mapped. The system now handles this scenario gracefully, allowing admins to save valid configurations without encountering blocking errors.
Rider & Portal Workflows
More stable Rider Portal behavior
We corrected a back‑end issue in the Rider Portal where an undefined element caused errors. With this fix, affected Rider Portal workflows now complete reliably, reducing interruptions and confusion for users interacting with rider‑specific schedules and information.
Security, privacy, and reliability
Improved configuration and error‑handling safeguards
Across Schedule Manager, Rider Portal, and configuration areas, we strengthened how the system handles invalid or missing configuration states. This reduces the likelihood that admins or riders will encounter cryptic errors when saving settings or loading schedule‑related views.
Higher reliability in imports, calculations, and tests
Fixes to employee import sync files, ID card generation tests, and time‑off/payroll alignment improve the stability of core processes that run behind the scenes. Organizations benefit from fewer data sync issues, more dependable ID card workflows, and more trustworthy calculations that support payroll and compliance.
