The document tab within the employee's profile is unique. Each document category that is create has it's own security settings as to whom can access/view the documents within that category.
When a new category is created
The DEFAULT security is set to any employee with access to that employee's document tab may view all documents within the newly created category.
How to view/change or set the security settings for a document category?
- Login to the VAIRKKO Platform and click on Admin from the main navigation bar.
- Select SYSTEM CONFIGURATION --> GENERAL SETUP then select SYSTEM PICK LISTS (at the top)
- Locate in the list the item labeled "USER DOCUMENT CATEGORY" and click on the "ACTION" Button > Then click on VIEW/EDIT ITEM.
- You will see each document category along with a corresponding "EDIT VALUE SECURITY" link. Click on the link of the category in which you want to update the security for.
- From the window that appears follow the on-screen prompts to configure those the security for the document category.
- Click on the Submit Button to save your changes.
Note: You do not need to log out and back in for these security changes to take effect.
