The Security Management area gives you the ability to determine who has access to key features within the VAIRKKO Platform. The Optional Granular Security feature and HR Access Groups allows you to grant or restrict access to employee profile tabs and give the ability to perform key functions in the platform.
Granular Security
Granular Security gives you the ability to determine what actions an employee can take relating to a specific cloud or feature. The Granular Security option will be visible if you grant Admin Access to a feature or cloud within the Security Group.
- You can grant or deny access to remove items, upload items, or edit items related to a feature.
- You can determine which tabs can be viewed within the employee's profile.
- You can determine if they can alter items related to their account.
HR Access Groups
The HR Access is located in the in-app menu located next to Security Groups.
- Allows you to determine who can view which tabs located within the employee's profile.
Granular Security vs HR Access Group
The HR Access Group gives specific employees the ability to view tabs within the Employees Profile. The system defaults to allow all members of a security group to view all the tabs within the employee profile. If an employee is entered into this group only that employee can view the tab. Granular Security gives the ability to determine who can see tabs as well what they can access and change on the tab.
