How Notification Flow Works

When notifications are enabled, VAIRKKO follows the settings defined within each certification template.

  • If a certification is approaching expiration, the system checks the template’s notification settings
  • If “Send Expiration Alerts to Employees” is set to Yes, the employee will receive an alert
  • If set to No, the employee will not receive an alert
  • Any users listed under Leadership Personnel to Receive Notification Alerts will receive an email listing all employees with certifications nearing expiration

Notification Timing

Notifications are sent at the following intervals prior to expiration:

  • 120 days
  • 90 days
  • 60 days
  • 30 days
  • Less than 30 days until renewal

Additional Configuration Options

  • Use Global Notification Settings to send notifications based on locations instead of individual certifications
  • Enable Notify Supervisor within Global Settings to send alerts to an employee’s supervisor
