The Course Details area allows you to configure the overall settings for an Online Training Course. These settings can range from the location of the Course to if the Course is Active/Inactive. Below is an overview of these settings.
Course Track: The outer most storage area for the Course. This would be comparable to a Filing Cabinet. Examples would be VAIRKKO, Policies, and Drugs.
Course Sub-Track: This allows your Agency to configure storage areas within the Course Track. Think of it as a Folder within the Filing Cabinet. Examples would be Online Training Cloud, Attendance, and Narcan.
Course Name: The name the employee sees also the name that is displayed within the Course Sub-Track. This would be comparable to a piece of paper stored in the folder. Examples would be Courses, Sick Leave, and Dosage.
Course Number: A specific number identifying the course. This number can be from the Requiring Agency or a Random Number generated by you.
Core CEU'S: Number of CEU's associated with core topics.
Elective CEU'S: Number of CEU's that can be used as Elective.
Sort Order: The position the course is displayed within the course catalog.
Required: Is this required for employees to take. If yes is selected it will display an indicator beside the Course stating it is required.
Course Type: Self Guided or Instructor Lead.
Allow Re-Takes?: Do you have one chance to pass the test or do you have multiple?
Maximum Attempts/Completions: If you allow your staff to re-take this test how many times may they do so.
Course completions notifications: Which group and/or individual is to be notified when an employee completes the test.
Re-Testing Frequency/Requirement: How often does the employee need to retake this test? The employee will see a 'Renewals' pod displayed on their online training dashboard 30 days prior to the due date.
Course Description: A brief description of the course.
Course Directions: Instructions on how to proceed with the Course.
Post-Course Instructions: Instructions for your staff to complete when the test is complete. This can be as simple as contact a specific person.
Prerequisites: Courses that have to be completed and passed prior to being able to access this course.
Course Run-Time: Is the course active? What date does the course become viewable by staff? When does the course end?
Governance: What governing body requires this course?
Linked Items: Is there a certification to be issued upon passing the course or is there a post-course survey?
Administrative Access: A specific group can be selected to determine which employees can edit this course.
Access Information: Which IP addresses can access the course as well as employees, locations, or departments.
