With the Course Materials area, you can upload, embed, or create content that can be viewed prior to or after a course.
Select Your Material Type First
- Upload File: Files such as PDF's, MP4, and word documents can be uploaded and viewed during the course.
- Link/Embed Content: Videos from Vimeo or YouTube can be linked or embedded.
- Authored Content: Gives you the ability to create powerpoint type material.
Options for Uploaded Material
- Material Label: The name that will be displayed during your course.
- Sort Order: The order in which the material will be displayed.
- Preview: Can the material be viewed prior to registering for the test? This can be used to view material that will take time to learn.
- Review: Can the material be view after the completion of the course? This is useful for any material that needs to be referred to in the future.
- In-Course: Is the material viewable after registering for the course and before taking the test? If this is set to NO the material will not be viewable after registering for the test.
- Still There?: A timer to pause the video can be set for any video that has been uploaded as material. To continue watching the video the student has to repress play.
- Required: Does the material have to be viewed prior to taking an accompanying test? If there is not a test associated with the course does the material have to be viewed prior to receiving credit?
- Open Book: Is the material available once an accompanying test is started?
